Conferences will be offered through a phone call, in person meeting, or a Google Meet throughout next week. The booking link will close on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at 11:00PM. Next week is Bullying Awareness and Prevention Week in Ontario. Did you know:

  • Over 1,100,000 Canadian school-aged students are bullied at least once, each and every week.

  • Thirty-one per cent of Canadian youth say they've been cyberbullied before.

  • About 50 per cent of youth and 30 percent of parents say they have witnessed cyberbullying directed at someone else.

  • Sixty-five per cent of youth say that they would tell a friend over a parent if they were being cyberbullied. They often fear their devices will be taken away if they tell their parents, and many don't feel that reporting cyberbullying is effective.

Bullying Awareness and Prevention Week enables schools to promote positive change in student learning, achievement, and well-being for a safer learning environment, which is essential to student success.
