Good afternoon to our EES families!
We hope all our families are enjoying this beautiful sunny PA Day! We can't wait to welcome students back to school on Monday, June 2, 2025.
It's been a busy and exciting week! Almost 70 of our students showed their athletic spirit at our Track & Field Day at Quinte Mohawk on Wednesday. Plus, some of our intermediate students helped plant grass at Sandbanks to prevent erosion – what a great way to support our natural landscape! Several primary classes are also getting ready for some fantastic out-of-school learning experiences.
As June kicks off, Grade 8 families should keep an eye out for important communication about our Graduation Celebration on June 19, 2025. More details about the big night will be coming home soon!
McDougall Insurance Community Contest: The Kindergarten team has entered into the McDougall Insurance Community Contest. They are looking to raise funds to enhance the kindergarten playground to encourage creativity and play. We need your help by voting daily using the link below. The voting goes from today, May 23rd to May 31st. The more votes we receive, the better chance we have at winning. Feel free to share the link with friends, family and on your social media. The link is attached below.

Words Matter Campaign: We will be continuing our discussions with our students around the importance of their words and how they may impact others. This is ongoing learning that continues each and every day here at Easthill. We are celebrating our work so far, and will continue the learning into next year.
School Council - We are excited to support student learning at Easthill through the support of the School Council. We had our final meeting of the year on May 29th. Thank you to all family members that supported this year. We look forward to continuing to grow our School Council and work to provide even more amazing opportunities for our students and families to get involved at Easthill.
